ROTHERHAM HOSPICE LIGHT UP A LIFE
This year, many people will be facing their first Christmas without someone they were close to.
To help them through this difficult time, Rotherham Hospice is holding it’s annual Light up a Life Campaign, sponsored by MTL Group. The campaign is open to everyone, not just those touched by Hospice care. For many, a light is a symbolic way of remembering a loved one, and Rotherham Hospice uses this symbol to provide a focus for families and friends by inviting people to dedicate a light through a variety of ways.
By making a donation to sponsor a light, the name of your loved one will be inscribed in the Book of Lights, and you will receive a beautiful card also bearing their name. You can also hang a message on the Hospice Christmas Tree using a special Light up a Life Star. The tree and stars will be in the Hospice reception throughout the festive period. The campaign ends with a festival of light at the Light up a Life service of remembrance at Rotherham Minster on Sunday 9thDecember at 4pm, where you can remember loved ones through poems, readings and the lighting of candles.
If you would like to take part in Light up a Life, please contact a member of the Hospice Fundraising Team on 01709 308917 or e-mail email@example.com
