Rotherham Minster is available for funerals as well as a place to find comfort and support during a difficult time.
From the moment you are in touch with us, throughout the funeral service, and for as long as you need us afterwards, we're here for you. The Church of England is in every community and has been helping people mark the end of life for generations.
Due to the lockdown restrictions, churches are not able to open to large public groups. However, if someone you know and love has recently died, or dies in the next few days, of whatever cause, there may still be a small funeral held at a church or a crematorium led by a Church of England minister.
As a starting point, we would suggest you have a look through the Church of England funerals website pages (see the link to the right) and see if that answers any initial questions then, if you would like to get in touch with us, please use the form on our contact page and we will get back to you soon.
You can find out more information about making plans, confirming arrangements and how the church can support you on the Church of England funerals pages.
In response to the National Lockdown, we are no longer open for Sunday Services
We will be open for private prayer on Tuesdays & Saturdays, 11-1
